GOAL, VISION AND MISSION

The reflection and learning meeting resolved to continue with the vision and mission as stated in the Constitution of Landnet East Africa.

Goal:  Sustainable management of land and land based natural resources for the eradication of poverty and improvement of the livelihoods of the people of East Africa.

Vision:  The vision of Landnet East Africa “is of a region in which there are policies, laws and institutions for the management of land and land based natural resources which are democratic, responsive to the needs of the region, and promote equitable access to and use of land and natural resources for the development of the region and improvement of the people’s livelihoods”.

Mission:  “The mission of the Network is to facilitate and promote the exchange of information, ideas, experiences and expertise between East African countries and between them and other countries in Africa and elsewhere in the world with a view to ensuring sustainable management of land and land based natural resources for the eradication of poverty and improvement of the livelihoods of the people of East Africa”
