The Uganda Land Alliance has three organs i.e. the General Assembly, Executive
Committee and Secretariat.
General Assembly
The General Assembly is the main policy making organ consisting of all paid up members. It convenes at least once a year at the Annual General Meeting AGM.
The AGM among others formulates, reviews and revises policies and the constitution of the Alliance
The Secretariat
This is the coordinating and implementing body of the Alliance’s activities and policy objectives as formulated by the Management committee. The secretariat consists of the Coordinator who is the head, the Programmme Officer,project officer,Accounts officer, the Administrative assistant and two other support staff namely the office messenger and a driver. The secretariat works in close collaboration with the executive committee.
Districts of operation
The Uganda Land Alliance operates in the following districts; Kampala where the head office is located and Luweero in the central region, Kibaale in the Western region, Apac in the northern region, Kapchorwa and Mbale in the Eastern Region. |
