The Uganda Land Alliance Internship Programme
About the Programme
Uganda Land Alliance believes in training young professionals in Action Research and Rights Based Approaches to Development. We engage aspiring land rights activists in various community projects to enable them acquire skills and techniques in community/rural development work. ULA gives young upcoming professionals early exposure to Land rights administration and conflict resolution initiatives with an intention of developing their creativity and innovation in fighting for the rights of the poor, vulnerable and marginalized.
Uganda Land Alliance welcomes Interns from Universities across the globe, interested in supporting and working for the rights of marginalized groups on the basis of gender, tribe, ethnicity, age, disability and race.
As part of this programme, Interns should be prepared to visit different parts of Uganda in which they can both site see and learn through hands on experiences with the communities that Uganda Land Alliance Serves.

Applications are welcome all year round. However, the following information is required:

Funding
Uganda Land Alliance does not offer funding for this programme. Interns should raise enough funds to cover their costs for the duration of their stay in Uganda. We can, however, assist in the computation of costs for the programme.
